Cate was wearing a yellow trouser suit, teamed with a crisp black shirt and chunky flat white shoes. She was also sporting bright red headphones and a pair of green sunglasses.
Russell and his bandmate and brother Ron then burst into song, performing their new track The Girl Is Crying In Her Latte, while Cate began throwing some serious shapes on the spot.

At one point, Russell encouraged the crowd to shout out some "ah ahs for Cate", to which they obliged.
He had previously welcomed her on to the stage by saying: "Ladies and gentlemen, we're so thrilled to be playing at Glastonbury and, as hopefully a lot of you know, we have a brand new album.
"It's called The Girl Is Crying In Her Latte and, as a super special treat tonight, we did a video for this song recently and we had the great honour of having the amazing actor Cate Blanchett join us.
"Without further ado, it's Cate Blanchett!"
Once the song had finished, Cate bowed to the crowd but did not utter a single word before shimmying off stage.
The crowd went wild, as did viewers at home.
One tweeted: "This is my #Glastonbury #motivation. Let’s all be more Cate Blanchett."
Another added: "Got to love Sparks, and a cameo from Cate Blanchett.
