That is because parent club Bayern Munich have offered Barcelona the chance to sign Sabitzer.
According to Sport, the German outfit are willing to listen to offers for him.
Premier League odds and betting tipsSabizter has failed to establish himself in Bavaria since his £13million move from RB Leipzig in 2021.
And with La Liga champions Barca in the market for new midfielders following the departure of Sergio Busquets, Bayern have offered them the Bundesliga star.
Sabizter's name was seen on Man Utd's website for their new home shirt, leaving fans fuming that the injury-prone star may be retained next season.
United themselves are also in the market for new midfielders, but have focused on recruiting Chelsea's Mason Mount.
The two teams finally agreed on a compromise fee of £55m plus £5m in add-ons after United threatened to walk away from the deal last week.

Mount turned down a new £200,000-per-week contract from the Blues in favour of United's five year plus one optional deal worth £250,000 a week.
Since agreeing a fee for Mount, they have now switched attention to trying to land £43m-rated Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.
After blocking Tom Heaton's transfer to Luton in the biggest indication yet that David de Gea will be leaving the club, Erik ten Hag target Bart Verbruggen reportedly appears set to join Brighton.
