A FORMER Desperate Housewives star has been praised for her latest "raw and uncut" social media snap 11 years after the show wrapped.
American singer and actress Vanessa Williams, who played Renee Perry, was a fan-favourite cast member.
Vanessa, 60, joined Desperate Housewives in season seven as the trouble-making minx and best pal of over-worked mum Lynette Scavo.
She delighted fans with her racy behaviour and super-stylish outfits and, after arriving on Wisteria Lane as uppity and vain, showed a humble side in season eight as she prepared for her wedding.
The actress - who starred alongside fellow fan favourite Eva Longoria, 48 - remained a glam figure as the show wrapped with season eight in 2012.

Yet in a recent social media snap, she looks completely different from the on-screen glamourpuss.
Fans called out their "respect" for the brunette after she posted an Instagram picture showing her in her gym gear after a workout in South Carolina.
She swept her brunette locks back with a hair band and showed off her natural glow as she posed make-up free.
Vanessa flashed a pout to the camera and wrote in her caption: "No filter …No energy #rescuecrew."
Fans were quick to gush over her natural beauty, with one writing: "I respect this honest pic and see you now even more beautiful."
Another put: "Called being human nothing wrong with that."
A third then wrote: "You will always be one of the most beautiful women in the world," as another put: "I respect you soo much for this post!"
One added: "I Love A Woman Who Not Afraid To Showcase The Raw & Uncut Version Of Herself."
Yet one commented: "All honesty, if l wouldn’t have saw the name , l wouldn’t have known this is Vanessa."

Recently, Vanessa opened up to The Sun exclusively about the cosmetic surgery work she's had done - and why she would never lie about her age.
She told us: "I’ve never been one to lie about my age, because anyone with a smartphone can find out I’ve turned 60 in March. I’m proud of the fact that I’m about to enter a new decade – getting older is a real privilege."
She added: "When I started acting 25 years ago, it felt like women were tapped out as leading ladies by the time they hit 38. After that, you either got cast as a mother or a power executive.
"So I jumped at the chance to play Renee Perry in Desperate Housewives – it was the first time we saw a cast of 40-something women kicking ass, being sexy, having lives outside of their kids and just being who they wanted.
"When I reached 40, I began getting Botox. I felt a lot of pressure, as it seemed everyone around me in California was having it done. I love how smooth it makes my skin, especially my neck, and I have doctors I regularly book in with now.
"I can’t see myself getting anything more drastic done anytime soon, though. Some stars might not have a wrinkle on their face any more, but you can’t tell who they are. I just want to look the best for my age - which is why I love Hydrafacial. Their treatments make my skin look so rosy and plump. It makes me feel young again."
Meanwhile, Desperate Housewives hunk Mike Delfino actor James Denton also looks totally different after the hit show ended.
