Speaking to a group of podcasters, the 47-year-old said: "I couldn't think of anything worse watching the episode with people I work with."

She added: "I'd have to watch t on my own, or with someone who wouldn't bother me."

Meanwhile, tomorrow viewers bid goodbye to the Sarah Lancashire show for good.

This week the BBC released a first look Happy Valley finale trailer.

It shows Ryan being quizzed by cops about his contact with his rapist and murderer father.

In the clip, the cops ask the teenager: "When was the last time you had any contact with Tommy Lee Royce?"

In another scene, Sergeant Catherine Cawood can be heard asking if they've caught the criminal.

"He's still out there he's still a bit angry and he's going to be even more desperate and dangerous."

Tommy can be seen standing over what appears to be a person as he's covered in blood.

With the clip ending as Cawood breaks down in tears, it looks set to be a less than happy ending in the valley.

In previous episodes viewers watched as killer Tommy Lee Royce went on the run after escaping court and invading the police.

With the help of pal Darius, Tommy was preparing for a new life in Spain complete with a new passport for him, but also son Ryan.

But it seems he couldn't resist trying to finish things off with Catherine (Sarah Lanchashire) and asked Darius to get him a gun.

Happy Valley airs the last ever episode tomorrow at 9pm BBC One and iPlayer, series 1 and 2 also available now on BBC iPlayer.
