Rishi Sunak and 10 of his ministers have received more than £290,000 from oil and gas companies, Labour analysis claims.

The revelation came in the week it was announced Shell more than doubled its annual profit to £32billion – its biggest result ever.

Shadow Energy Secretary Ed Miliband said: “Millions of households are looking at a 40 per cent increase.”

The Labour dossier shows sacked Tory chairman Nadhim Zahawi had a £2,000 donation in 2017 to his local party from Amjad Bseisu, boss of North Sea oil firm EnQuest.
