Lisa Marie Presley is said to have kept her weight loss surgery a secret from her friends, who have been left shocked by her cause of death.
The only daughter of Elvis Presley died back in January at the age of 54, with a new report saying her death was related to bariatric surgery she had several years ago.
The Los Angeles County Coroner's report ruled her cause of death as being caused by small bowel obstruction which "developed after bariatric surgery years ago".
News of Lisa Marie's secret surgery has shocked some of her friends, with one saying the singer had never been dangerously obese and so never in need of bariatric surgery.

Bariatric surgery is often used to treat obesity and can include the use of a gastric band, gastric bypass or a sleeve gastrectomy.
According to the Mayo Clinic, the surgery is used when other types of weight loss methods have failed to work.
While they didn't know about her bariatric surgery, the source said friends were aware of Lisa Marie having "regular tweaks" such as Botox and other injectables, as well as minor cosmetic procedures.

In the run up to the star-studded event, Lisa Marie had reportedly been taking weight loss medication in the hopes of slimming down for the red carpet. She's said to have lost around 40lb (2.8 stone).
Speaking to Page Six, the source shared a possible explanation for Lisa Marie's diet, saying: "She wanted to look her very best."
Lisa Marie had reportedly complained of stomach pain on the day of her death. She was rushed to hospital after paramedics performed CPR on her at her home.
A toxicology report also revealed Lisa Marie had opioids and other medications in her system at the time of her death. She had "therapeutic levels" of Oxycodone in her blood as well as a second opioid known as Buprenorphine.
A coroner confirmed there were no narcotics found at Lisa Marie's home when she was rushed to hospital.
