But since arriving in Albert Square he has managed to redeem himself, and is now in a relationship with Kathy Beale.
Who is Rocky in EastEnders?
EastEnders' cheeky chappie first showed up in the Square in 2021, claiming to be Sonia Fowler's estranged father Terry Cant.
However, he later dropped the bombshell that he pretended to be Sonia's dad as part of a scheme that he and his niece Dotty Cotton came up with to con her out of Dot Cotton's inheritance money.
Despite his evil plot, he's since managed to become one of Walford's most popular residents.

He even won back Kathy Beale's trust and they are now in a relationship.
Rocky is played by legendary comedian Brian Conley.
Prior to joining EastEnders he was known for The Brian Conley Show, as well as his sitcom Time After Time, Jed Mercurio's comedy-drama The Grimleys, and The National Lottery: We've Got Your Number.
Speaking about playing Rocky, he told the BBC in 2021: “As you can imagine being a Londoner and now being part of EastEnders is such an incredible moment for me.
“I know for sure my dad’s looking down from above and saying ‘Good on yer son!’ It was always his favourite programme.
“So in so many ways it really is an honour to be part of such an iconic show and to be working with an incredibly talented team on camera and off. I cannot wait to order my first pint at The Queen Vic.”
What is Rocky's real name in EastEnders?
Despite claiming to be Terry Cant, Rocky's real name is Tom Cotton.
He is the son of Dot Cotton's first husband Charlie Cotton.
This means Rocky is the half-brother of Nick and Andrew Cotton and the uncle of Dotty Cotton.
He made his first appearance on EastEnders in May 2021.

EastEnders character Kathy Beale was born in 1950, which makes her 73 (as of 2023).
Rocky was born in July 1961, meaning he is 62, so therefore there is an 11 year age gap between him and Kathy.
However, in real life actress Gillian Taylforth was born in 1955 and actor Brian in 1961, meaning they are actually only six years apart.
