THE ONE Show co-host Alex Jones was shocked at a guest's secret on yesterday's episode, with the truth causing a deathly silence to fall in the studio.
Roman Kemp joined Alex on BBC's The One Show sofa as they welcomed comedian Adam Hills and chef Tom Kerridge.
The guests were introduced following a segment on ice cream vans becoming more eco-friendly, prompting a heated debate over the best flavour of ice cream.
Alex and a viewer who tweeted from home believed coffee flavour to be the best, which Roman could not get on board with.
The Last Leg presenter Adam said his favourite flavour of ice cream, not from an ice cream van (this was very important), was also coffee, but then he stunned the studio, causing an eerie silence to fall, when he admitted that he did not like soft serve ice cream.

Like he was at a soft serve ice cream anonymous meeting, he said: "Can I admit something?"
Intrigued, Alex replied: "Go on?"
He continued: "I don't like soft serve..."
After a second or two of silence. Tom stuttered: "What, how?"
Roman struggled to get out a confused "what?"
Adam repeated: "I don't like soft serve ice cream."
Alex spoke over him and declared: "Adam, we are going to have to finish the programme that's too much."
"I'm sorry," he said as he got up to leave the set.
Laughter erupted in the studio as he returned to his seat, and Tom jabbed: "The room went silent."
Their other guest was less controversial and was a fan of a Mr Whippy ice cream.

Tom declared his favourite was the iconic "Mr Whippy with a flake on the top," and if he felt particularly in the mood for a treat, he would add "some of the bright blue raspberry sauce".
A viewer had Adam's back and tweeted: "I agree with Adam, soft scoop ice cream is horrible, rum and raisin for me!"
Another questioned his statement and said: "@TheLastLeg #isitok that @adamhillscomedy does not like Mr Whippy and happy to admit on #TheOneShow."
The One Show airs on weekdays on BBC One at 7:00 pm.
