DRIVERS have been left stunned after realising that a 50p household item they already own will have their car sparkling in seconds.
Influencer Melissa Metrano took to social media to show her followers a simple trick to clean the most difficult areas of the car's interior.
TikTok user @melissametrano recommends using cotton buds as they are perfect for cleaning messes and reaching into the tiniest nooks and crannies of your car.
And you can find this product in Asda for only 50p.
Melissa explained: "We are heading on a road trip, and I wanna show you how I clean and reset my car on the go.

"I always travel with Q-tips (cotton buds) because they are so great for cleaning messes.
"For example, my sticky drink that spilt into the cup holder or the dust that builds up in the air vents. Most importantly, snacks in the seats that my toddler throws around."
The savvy mum also uses cotton buds to get rid of paw prints on the centre console of her car.
She continued: "I love that Q-tips are strong and flexible - and can get into the tiniest nooks and crannies of my car."
The video has gone viral on TikTok with more than 387,500 views, and users were quick to comment below.
