DUA Lipa's experimental style has led to some pretty revealing moments as of late.
According to one fashion expert, the singer seems to be a bit "lost" when it comes to her style choices — especially the nearly-nude nipple-baring look she picked for a Barbie premiere.
With the Barbie movie dominating at the box office, Dua Lipa — who appears in the film and also on the soundtrack — is everywhere.
She's played up the Barbie theme on Instagram, sharing an August 3 snap in a metallic pink mini captioned: "All I do is beach."
The 27-year-old channeled her Mermaid Barbie character in another shot on July 30, lounging on a rocky shore in a see-through red dress.

But she really left jaws on the floor at the L.A. film premiere on July 9, wearing a NSFW custom chainmail dress by custom Bottega Veneta.
The floor-length number was completely see-through, exposing her white underwear — and a whole lot more.
Celebrity stylist Tavia Sharp told The U.S. Sun that Dua Lipa has definitely "pushed the envelope" lately.
"Her style really has gotten more skin revealing, skin-tight, and she's showing off her body," she said.
"She wants to stand out, to be different."
But all this experimenting has left her without a cohesive look.
Sharp said the New Rules singer "seems to be changing it up," but without a designer partnership — she's collaborated with brands like Versace — she's adrift.
"She looks a little lost trying to figure it out without partnering with some of these designers.
"They kind of look all over the place, these outfits," she said.

Sharp was especially skeptical of the nearly-nude Bottega Veneta Dua Lipa wore to the Barbie premiere.
"That's pushing it a little for a Barbie premiere. That's an interesting choice.
"There must be some reason why she's pushing this.
"Her audience is young girls. So it's interesting that she would go so far with being revealing.
"It's almost too much, because I haven't really seen her in anything that sheer.
"She has been wearing body-hugging things. But this is more revealing than I've ever seen her. I think it went a little far."
What's more, Sharp didn't think the star looked super comfortable in the nipple-exposing style.
"I think she seems less confident," she said, calling the dress "out of place."
"I wonder if it was meant to show her saying: 'Hey, I'm a feminist, I can wear whatever I want, and screw the patriarchy.'"
Sharp thought she might be trying to send the statement: "I can wear whatever I want and you can think I'm sexy or whatever, but I have a right to [wear what I want]."
All in all, the stylist thinks the Dance The Night bopper might be better off avoiding such revealing outfits in the future.
