Former Escape to the Chateau stars Dick and Angel Strawbridge may have lost their lucrative reality show deal with Channel 4 but they have revealed they have a new ‘dream come true’ career move as they plan to take over North America.

The husband and wife duo - consisting of 64-year-old retired Lieutenant Colonel Richard ‘Dick’ Strawbridge and 45-year-old Angel Adoree - have revealed they are hitting the road for a tour of the USA and Canada. The couple went on to explain that they weren't able to plan as many dates in as many cities as they had wished. They wrote: "The tour being so soon, did mean many of our chosen locations simply had no availability, so this will be a shorter tour, but that does means that we will just have to come back!"

They went on to explain that tickets would be on sale from Friday 15 September and that special "meet and greet" tickets would be available. They added: "Please join us for an evening filled with stories, games and laughs, We can’t wait to see you!"
