"From when he was in the womb, he would start kicking whenever I would play music on my phone because every morning I played the song that I had done the night prior."
He told People: "Jena's been a superhero in all of this, so I've been very, very lucky.
"She's really incredible with him and she is definitely the ringleader in all of this. My hat goes out to her.
"The biggest challenge definitely is waking up. Sometimes I wake up with one eye and I'm like, I don't know how she's doing it.
"I want him to have a foundation in health and fitness.
"I want to see what he gravitates towards but I want to expose him to a lot so that he can choose his own way."
Jason further shared: "We love [our son] more than anything, and his wellbeing is really important to us.
"I'm really attentive of her wellbeing as well and I want her to be good.
"I care about her a lot. We have an amazing relationship, contrary to a lot of people's beliefs.
"It's a beautiful thing [that we can support each other], especially given our new relationship: co-parenting."

When did Jason start dating Jena Frumes?
Jason and Jena went public with their relationship in March 2020.
Earlier in the same year, the pair first met because they frequented the same Equinox gym location.
The singer told Page Six: "We both have a similar desire to work out all the time and I had seen her once there before.
"Then the second time, I was like, ‘Aight. Imma go talk to her,’ and the rest is history."
Prior to their split, the couple would often post photos together on their social media pages and appear in each other's TikTok videos.
On September 23, 2021, Jason announced he and Jenna had broken up.
"Jena and I have decided to part ways," he explained to his fans via X, formerly known as Twitter.
"She is an amazing mother but we feel being apart at this time will allow us to be the best versions of ourselves and the best parents we could be. Pls respect our privacy in this time."
While sharing her side of the story, Jena told her Instagram followers: "It's unfortunate my situation didn't work out because we once did aspire to be married, but maybe it's best to be single than in a relationship and constantly be disrespected and cheated on and lied to.
"Or is it better to stay and be quiet so people like you approve?"
