TWITTER / X appears to be suffering from a mysterious outage affecting thousands of users.
Problems started to appear at around 2.30pm UK time, according to the Down Detector website.

More than 2,000 reports of Twitter / X being down were picked up by Down Detector on April 23, 2024.
Over 6,000 reports were logged on the US version of the site.

People are still able to tweet but it appears that the Twitter / X feed is not loading properly for some users.
Many report seeing an error message, reading: "Posts aren't loading right now."
One confused user wrote: "Is Twitter melting down for everyone, or just me?"
Another wrote: "Is twitter down for just me, nothing will load properly."
How can I check if Twitter is down?
Anyone who wants to check if their Twitter / X account is fully operating should first try to log into their account.
Despite an uptick in outage reports, some users are still able to access the site with no problems.
Users can also check Down Detector to see if others are experiencing similar issues with the app.
