AN Emmerdale star is set to return to the ITV soap nine years after leaving and becoming a teacher.
This is the actresses' first role since her departure in 2017.

Now, 10 years later, the star has teased her return to ITV this coming Monday.

It focuses on the victims' and officers' lives at the centre of the police investigation.
Sammy plays Sonia Sutcliffe, Peter Sutcliffe’s wife in the new drama.
The cast also includes Toby Jones, Lee Ingleby, and Katherine Kelly.
Speaking of the decision to kill off Katie Sugden, Sammy told the press at the time: "It's probably best that she was killed off.
"Now I won't be looking over my shoulder all the time thinking: 'What if I went back?' It's a clean cut."
Sammy is happily married to her childhood sweetheart, Martyn Hardy.
Unlike the former Emmerdale star, her husband isn't famous, and reportedly works as a Human Resources manager.
