A MAN has raged at his neighbour online for 'reserving' a parking spot outside his home with cardboard boxes and plant pots.

While some think it's a selfish act, others seem to believe he isn't doing anything wrong.

The irritated resident shared a video on TikTok of the road, where a collection of plant pots are lined up in a row on the street.

He then proceeds to pick them up one by one, and perch them on the wall in front of his neighbours house.

The post read: "Moving all the junk."

A previous video showed a large cardboard box in the 'slot' his neighbour was trying to reserve and another involved a traffic cone.

Finding roadside parking if you don't have a driveway can be tricky, especially when your neighbours have more than one car.

But, the disgruntled man who posted the video claims his neighbour has an empty driveway they don't use.

He wrote on TikTok: "Anyone else live near someone that thinks they can claim a public parking space as their own by using a traffic cone and some twigs in pots?"

Some people who watched the videos were left confused by his behaviour.

One said: "I see he has a driveway too, why doesn't he just park there. I've got a similar situation with my neighbour who has a big driveway."

Someone else said they'd experienced the same thing where they lived: "They do this in St Heliers, thinking they own the street".

But other viewers took the side of the man behind the plant pots.

One argued: "There's plenty [of] space", while another simply said "He is right".

And another chimed in: "Can't blame him if he needs to park there".
