FRIENDS star David Schwimmer has been spotted for the first time since his former co-star Matthew Perry died.
The cast broke their silence on the tragedy on Monday, releasing a joint statement.

David, 56, was seen outside of his Big Apple home just days after Matthew's drowning death.
He kept it casual, wearing a gray T-shirt and matching gym shorts.
The American Crime Story star hid his face behind a cloth mask.

He added an additional layer of cover, greeting a delivery person at his door in a baseball cap.
David grabbed his food and threw up a peace sign with his hands.
The actor was also spotted stepping out in New York City, though it's not clear where he was going, as reported by Page Six.
He made his way into an Uber waiting nearby, wearing a dark puffer jacket amid cooler temperatures and a baseball cap.
The sitcom star's face was again hidden behind a surgical mask.
He stayed locked on his phone as he walked toward the SUV.

SOMBER STATEMENT
The Friends cast released a joint statement about Matthew's death on Monday.
They told People: "We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family.
"There is so much to say, but right now we're going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."
The cast went on: "In time we will say more, as and when we are able.

"For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty's family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."
The note was signed by the entire cast, including Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, and David.
Prior to their statement, reports surfaced that the Friends cast was crushed by the tragic news.
"The cast is reeling from the loss of their brother, because that's what Matty was – their brother," an insider told Page Six.
"The entire cast are close, they will be devastated, because they were together through the best of times and worst of times.
"And when Matty was sick, they protected him, they looked after him fiercely."
DARK DETAILS
Matthew died on October 28 in what appeared to be a drowning incident at his Los Angeles home.
Authorities were initially called to the home in response to a cardiac arrest after his assistant found him unresponsive and underwater in the jacuzzi at his home.
She frantically called 911, referencing a drowning in her brief 15-second call.
Police have since confirmed that the death was being investigated but said that there were no drugs at the scene and foul play was not suspected.
Matthew spoke openly through the years about his battle with drugs and addiction.
Authorities did find anti-depressants, anti-anxiety drugs, and a medication prescribed for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
On the morning of the Whole Nine Years star's death, he played pickleball with a female friend whom he often played with.
Matthew is said to have been feeling "fatigued" during their game and games played earlier that week.
Details surrounding his official cause of death are still coming together.
