LOVE Island’s start date has officially been confirmed – and it’s much sooner than you think.
The winter series, hosted by Maya Jama, will kick off on Monday, January 16, as The Sun previously revealed.

The channel has begun to ramp up promo, with a string of sizzling teaser trailers showing Maya astride a bucking bronco as she “takes love by the horns”.

The grand finale will take place eight weeks later on March 13.
An insider said: “The villa is absolutely amazing, Maya is raring to go and this series’ contestants are looking to be the sexiest ever.
“It is a really exciting time for everyone who works on the show and they cannot wait to get started.”
This week The Sun told how biomedical science student Tanya Manhenga, 22, is heading into the villa.
Alongside her studies, Tanya is a rising star in the world of influencing with over 11,000 followers on Instagram and has already worked with huge brands including boohoo, Simmi shoes and Ego footwear.
And the lass from Liverpool counts summer finalist Indiyah Polack among her online friends.
