Joe played for a number of teams and his Instagram is full of pictures from his time on and off the pitch.
Inside Apprentice star Victoria Gouldbourne's glam, jet-setting lifeOne cheeky snap saw Joe and most of his rugby team pose completely naked near a river.
Other pictures show them having fun on the team bus and in the changing rooms after a victory.
Whether Joe gets up to any similarly cheeky antics on The Apprentice remains to be seen, but he is certainly determined to win.
He said: "I don’t deserve Lord Sugar’s investment more than anyone else in the process, but I do think I have something that they don’t.
"If Lord Sugar wants to invest in a business to help save the ocean, one lip balm at a time, then I’m his guy."
He added: "I studied zoology and animal behaviour and specialised at being a safari guide in South Africa.
"So, I think with regards to entering The Apprentice, that gives me the edge I need, to be unique enough to succeed in the process."
Joe also has a point to prove, explaining: "My biggest weakness is my dyslexia.
"At school, I really struggled to keep my head above water.
"But now, this perceived weakness which held me back at school has become a driving force for me to succeed and prove what I’m capable of."
