From Lady Gaga to Madonna and Beyonce, the halftime slot at the Super Bowl attracts the biggest names in the business.
And this year it's Rihanna 's turn to headline the show, marking her first live performance in five years after an unofficial hiatus.
But while she might not have been touring, life has certainly been busy for the Umbrella singer thanks to the launch of her lucrative businesses - Fenty fashion house, Fenty Beauty and Fenty X Savage lingerie.
And the 34 year old has also become a mum for the first time, welcoming a son in May last year with her rapper boyfriend, ASAP Rocky.
But before that chapter, Rihanna spent a secret three years living in London, flying completely under the radar until eagle-eyed fans spotted a Sainsbury's bag for life in the background of one of her Instagram pictures.
Rihanna used a budget Boots foundation to achieve 'flawless' Golden Globes lookAt the time, she was dating Saudi billionaire businessman Hassan Jameel, and wanted to be close to her business ventures, which were all based in the UK capital.
So without telling anyone outside her inner circle, she relocated from California and rented a jaw-dropping £32million mansion in the exclusive north London suburb of St John's Wood.
For the meaty price of £18,000 a week, Rihanna got herself eight bedrooms, a gym, two balconies and a sprawling garden.
The townhouse was originally owned by diamond tycoon Daniel Francis, who was a director and shareholder of De Beers.
It was only after fans spotted the Sainsbury's bag for life that Rihanna confirmed that she had indeed moved to Blighty.
A fan wrote on social media: "I honestly never thought I would see Rihanna next to a Sainsbury's bag."
Another added: "Rihanna owning a Sainsbury's bag for life. She is truly one of the people."
Someone else added: "I knew it! That's why there was a Sainsbury's bag for life in the back of that pic she posted! Can you imagine Rihanna at the self check out in Sainsbury's."
Rihanna was also spotted shopping in Boots and partying at Notting Hill members' club Laylow, and told how she loved taking anonymous walks around the streets.
"I enjoy walking around the block. When I go walking, I try to keep a little incognito, she told the New York Times.
Rihanna 'loves being a mum' and is 'obsessed' with her 8-month-old sonRevealing that she liked to shop at a nearby 'cute little Jamaican market', the Bajan star also explained that she would rather eat Jamaican food in Brixton than party 'with the fanciest of crowds'.
However, she said her fame made that impossible and forced her to party at 'bougie' nightclubs instead.
"If I I try to get some Jamaican food [in Brixton], it's going to be an event, you know?" she said.
Admitting she sticks to venues with exclusive guestlists she continued: "I like it because they're too bougie to give a shit about me.
"When I walk into those places, I am invisible. And nothing makes me feel better than being invisible.
"So if I want a night off, I go hang with the people I would never hang with. And I just, I'm just in my bubble. Which I really enjoy about London."
Rihanna handed the keys back to her plush pad in 2020 and is now believed to split her time between Los Angeles and Barbados.
