Since arriving he had settled in well, appearing 17 times under Thomas Tuchel's side which has the meanest defence in the Bundesliga.

However, according to a report from German outlet Bild, things did not start swimmingly off the pitch.

While moving into his new home, Kim had placed a rice cooker on the sidewalk in order to bring a box into the house.

But when the 27-year-old returned, the rice cooker was gone.

The cooker was an important item in his kitchen collection.

Rice is a staple food in Kim's homeland of South Korea.

Fortunately, Kim was swiftly able to get his hands on a new one.

The report adds that Kim's advisor Dee Hong brought a new rice cooker from South Korea so he could enjoy rice again.

Fellow new arrival and team-mate Harry Kane is set to finally move into his own digs in a Villa formerly housed another ex-Munich player.

The England captain had racked up a tab of £1million since his move at a five-star £10,000-a-night hotel.

Kim joined Bayern in a deal reported to be worth around £43m.

He snubbed a transfer to Manchester United to join the Bavarians.
