"It shines, huh? ... It shines!" she continued.
"It's a ship," a man in the clip uttered in complete shock.
"Oh! It flashed," another voice exclaimed in the background.
Canadian journalist MJ Banais spoke with The History Channel about the bizarre sighting and noted that Canada is "one of the few countries that actually logs and collects UFO data on a yearly basis."
He added that Canadians report spotting a UFO at an average rate of three times a day.
The journalist also mentioned that UFO sightings happen most often in Quebec, which is where the video was filmed.
Experts analyzed the metadata of the video and concluded that it is legitimate and not a hoax.
Astronomer and video effects designer, Marc D'Antonio believes that there is an actual object floating in the sky, it's just a matter of whether it's a UFO or not.
There do not appear to be any propellers on the object and it doesn't seem to produce exhaust, which terminates the possibility of it being a plane or a drone.

He noted that the object had a very strong reflective surface, almost like a mirror.
Since the sun was reflecting off of the object, this could be why it appeared to be on fire.
He mentioned that it looked very close to a "bright, shiny, silver Mylar balloon."
The closer you look at the video, you can see the object's wrinkles and silver color resembles a half-deflated letter balloon, seemingly appearing to be the letter 'H' or even a 'J.'

The US government recently opened the conversation surrounding aliens and UFOs.
In July 2023, congress held a hearing that included testimony from a former Air Force intelligence officer, David Grusch.
He claimed the government has operated a secret "multi-decade" reverse engineering program of recovered unidentified aerial phenomena, or UAPs — the military's term for UFOs.
He also noted that the US has recovered non-human "biologics" from alleged crash sites.
The hearing covered ways the country can improve processes for reporting UAPs.
Grusch is expected to reveal more of his findings imminently, NewsNation reports.
