TV chefs the Hairy Bikers revealed their worst filming hair disaster involved a mum who had to be cut free from a food mixer.
The duo’s Dave Myers said it happened during the making of what turned out to be their inappropriately named Mums Know Best series.
He said the woman was a great cook, but became snared when her locks got too close to a Kenwood Chef — to her family’s horror.
Recalling the incident with his co-host Si King, 57, Dave said: “When we did Mums Know Best, do you remember the lady with the Kenwood Chef, the big mixers?
“She was a great lady, made great food. And her family came home and she was there with her head like locked down.

“Her hair had caught. They had to cut her hair off to get her out of the Kenwood Chef.”
Dave, 66, who has been battling back from his cancer diagnosis last year, insisted the embarrassing moment was totally true, telling the Radio Times: “We haven’t made that up.”
