Emptying four full-sized cans of the crisps into a pot, she told viewers: “Alright! We are starting off with some holiday sour cream and onion Pringles into the crockpot.”

“Now we’re going to take half a jug of some milk,” she went on before pouring it all into with the crisps.

“We’re going to make a super delicious, easy side dish or even full dinner if that’s your vibe.”

Alexa then placed two sticks of butter into the crockpot alongside a bag of grated cheddar cheese.

She then told viewers: “If you’ve never seen this before, you’re about to be blown away because it’s going to look and taste just like mashed potatoes but with all of the flavourings that comes with Pringles.”

The foodie then covered the pot and turned the heat up for it to start boiling for 20 minutes.

She then returned to mash it all together, explaining that she loves the sour cream and onion flavour.

“We just need that butter and cheese to melt, which happens so quick,” she said. “This is literally the quickest meal you could ever do.”

Covering it up again, she then gave it another 30 minutes before returning to mix it once more.

“Now before we’re done mixing, I just have a couple more ingredients to mix in that I think is going to make it real good,” she went on.

“We have some chives, you can use fresh as well if you want. And then I have some sour cream, I love the squeeze kind, so easy!”

After giving it one more mix, Facebook user Life with Alexa said: “And there you have it guys!”

People were quick to comment on the video as many were left baffled by the method and disgusted, too.

Another shared: “Why would anyone make this or eat it. It's disgusting!”

As a third posted: “Prison food.......yuk”.

“That looks disgusting and defo does not look like mash potatoes,” a fourth wrote.

While a fifth added: “Ya, because potato chips aren’t unhealthy enough, let’s add in some cheese and a whole mess of butter… no thanks.”
