EastEnders' star Lorraine Stanley has shown off her slimmest figure yet, posing with co-star Shona McGarty.
The actress, best known for playing Karen Taylor in the BBC soap, went to support Shona in her theatre production of Beauty and The Beast. Taking to Instagram, Lorraine looked trimmer than ever standing next to her cast mates. She captioned her post: "Shona is absolutely phenomenal," followed by five-star emojis. She added: "The whole cast and production was outstanding."
Lorraine has been open about her weight loss journey, recently revealing her transformation on social media. Sharing photos of her slimmed down look on Instagram, she said: "Thank you @louiseappelpt I'm feeling fantastic!!! You're the best PT #personaltrainer #fitat40something #toning #weighttrainingforwomen #igotthis."
On ITV's Lorraine, the actress shared how she lost weight. She said: "I've lost 12lbs in six weeks. My mate Louisa is my fitness guru, I've got her to thank for it. She talks about nutrition. I've eaten a lot of boiled eggs, fish, chicken. No carbs, no crisps and chocolate. I'm enjoying it and I feel better for it."
Lorraine, who starred in EastEnders for seven years, is leaving the show as part of a surprise cast change. Speaking openly to The Sun, she expressed her sadness at leaving the show and her EastEnders family but was eager to see what new opportunities lay ahead. She hinted that she might take on a role in rival soap Coronation Street.

I'd be Gemma's [Winter] auntie, Bernie's sister. I'd be in their family and I'd take over The Rovers." Announcing the news over the summer, she wrote: "Thank you to Daran Little for creating the Taylors and to the BBC for giving me the opportunity to play such a fabulous character.
"I’ll be sad to be saying goodbye to Karen Taylor and will miss all the cast and crew at EastEnders." Lorraine has since shared an update with her fans about life after the soap, as she posted the reality of trying to find new work. The actress admitted she was being "highly critical" as she "struggled" with having to try out for new jobs after seven years on the soap.
She shared a photo of a makeshift audition room in her loft where she had been recording tapes for other roles. Lorraine wrote: "Self tape setup in the loft, I'm so not technical but I'm proud I've managed to set it up all by myself, with advice on equipment by @_zack_morris. Just finished one and its hard work...I'll get there, it's a struggle watching yourself back & not being highly critical on yourself... just let it go & send it." She then added "#sent," to confirm she took the brave step of sending off her audition.
