In the picture posted to her Instagram story, Helen is clearly getting into the festive spirit with her 'Elf on the Shelf' Christmas tradition.
A Peppa Pig plush can be seen taped to her dishwasher, with an elf on the countertop in her Instagram story.
Kylie Jenner goes braless in mesh catsuit for new snaps on New Year's EveThe tradition, which dates back to Carol Aebersold and her daughter Chanda Bel's 2005 book, is supposed to make children think Santa's elves are going back and telling him which children have been naughty or nice during the year - but not before they get up to some mischief.
Unfortunately it seemed as if the prank did not go as planned, as the TV star captioned the post: “Did not end well. Traumatised.”
Helen, who shares sons Ernie, eight, Louis, five, and 16-month-old daughter Elsie with her ex Richie, is publicly known for being light-hearted, fun and full of jokes when she’s not busy filming.
Earlier this year, the 40-year-old took to her Instagram and teased that she was "ruining her kids lives".
Posting a series of snaps, including a story post of her youngest son Louis crouching in a ball on the floor crying, the Morning Live star penned a funny, heartfelt note about motherhood that had fans chuckling.
She revealed that her son's life had been "ruined" by how she tied his laces.
Helen penned in the caption: "Reality... When you're 'ruining their life' because of the way you tie a trainer lace.
"All part of the adventure we get to call parenting."
On a recent episode of Christmas on the Farm hosted by Helen and Jules, viewers were in for a surprise after Santa made a cameo during the programme in the form of Emmerdale's Lisa Riley.
Christmas on the Farm is available to stream on My5.
