EASTENDERS fans have been left horrified by a Christmas sight that will haunt them for years to come - Phil Mitchell stuffing a turkey.

The Walford hardman - who is played by by actor Steve McFadden in the BBC soap - left festive viewers wincing with his special way of preparing the bird tonight.

While the reveal of February’s dramatic murder and death flash forward was at the forefront of many fan’s minds, viewers nearly spat out their mince pies after the scenes with Phil and the fowl.

As the Mitchells readied themselves for the festivities it was down to Phil to tackle the bird.

The gangster was seen furiously punching stuffing up the turkey in preparation for the Mitchell’s festive feast.

Alfie Moon joked: “That’s a bit brazen, isn’t it Phil? Hand up another bird.”

But it was a bit much for fans at home who took to social media, horrified by the scenes.

One wrote: “This has to be post-watershed so they could show Phil Mitchell fisting a turkey.”
