AN iconic fast-food chain with 1,000 branches said "all good things must come to an end" as it shuts a store for good.
KFC has shut its restaurant in The Avenue Retail Park on Weaverthorpe Road in Bradford.
Locals have flocked to the restaurant over recent years for buckets of fried chicken, gravy, shakes and fries.
The closure means there are only six KFCs open across the Bradford district.
A spokesperson from KFC told The Sun that it had had a "great run but all good things must come to an end".

The spokesperson said: "It’s been a great run, but all good things must come to an end, and we’ve sadly closed the doors at KFC Avenue Retail Park.
"We hate goodbyes so we’re looking forward to welcoming all our loyal fans to our Odsal Road restaurant and our other sites in the area – see you there.”
Last month it emerged that KFC is to buy existing KFC outlets that are owned by the EG Group - a franchisee and sister company of supermarket Asda.
The fast food chain said it would take over the EG Group's 218 sites across the UK and Ireland, which employ around 7,800 people.
Around half are drive-through locations, said KFC, which is owned by Yum! Brands, the company behind Pizza Hut and Taco Bell.
The KFC branches had previously been owned by EG Group, a Blackburn-based company owned by the same brothers who bought Asda in early 2021.
Sabir Sami, KFC division chief executive, said: “We’re pleased to add these restaurants to our equity portfolio, in a market where we are well placed to drive strong growth while also making further digital and strategic progress.”
It comes as the chain plans to open 500 new KFC restaurants around the country over the long term.
