MEGAN Barton-Hanson has revealed the real reason she quit Love Island Games.
The 29-year-old left Love Island fans baffled when she 'vanished' from the spin-off series set in Fiji last year.
Now Essex girl Megan has told how she was rushed to hospital with a fever after she was left unable to stand up straight.
She said: "Everyone was getting food poisoning out there because obviously Fiji it's different water - it's just different everything.
"At first I thought it was food poisoning but by day three of it, it was not good and you don't want to be in a villa full of hot people needing to use the bathroom constantly."

Speaking to the Daily Star, Megan added: "I was sweating.
"I couldn't even stand up straight because I had such bad abdominal pain and then they wanted to keep me in the hospital over there but I was like 'nah just get me home'.
"I was super ill and I was out sleeping on the sofa because I had such a bad fever."
At the time narrator Iain Stirling told fans that Megan had left for "medical reasons", but did not make it clear how long the star would be gone for or if she would be returning.
Megan had been coupled up with Love Island USA star Kyra Green who confessed Megan's illness had "put a strain" on their budding romance.
She said: "It's mean definitely upsetting... just obviously on different pages and I haven't been really able to get on the same page because she's been sick and out of here."
But fans might get to see Megan back on their screens very soon as she recently dropped the biggest hint yet she'll be storming the Love Island All Stars villa in South Africa as a bombshell.
During an Instagram Q&A she was asked if she'd been lined-up as a latecomer - and she didn't deny it.
Megan replied: "Maybe... let's see what hot guys go in."
