SUITS stars have dropped a huge hint that Meghan Markle won’t be in the new spinoff of the hugely popular TV show.

The Duchess, 42, was reportedly offered a “dream role” on Suits: Los Angeles in “one of the biggest TV deals of the year”.

Suits, which ran from 2012 to 2019, saw a massive boost in popularity in 2023.

Fans binged the show after it was added to streaming giant Netflix and placed number one on America’s TV download chart for over three months.

Last year NBCUniversal gave a spinoff show the go ahead, and a senior production source claimed there was contract talks between the duchess' agent and the studio giant.

But now Meghan’s former co-stars have revealed they have had “no communication” with the duchess.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht were asked: “Have you spoken to Meghan Markle recently?”

Gabriel, who played Harvey on the show, said: “I have not communicated with her other than seeing her big support for the resurgence, and that has been really nice.”

Patrick, who starred as Michael Ross added: “Zero. No, no communication.”

It comes after an insider claimed TVexecs are "prepared to pay what it takes" to secure the actress.

“This is shaping up to be one of the biggest TV deals of the year," they added.

It comes after the cast of Suits had a heartwarming reunion at the Golden Globes - without Meghan.

The Suits cast united to present an award at the 2024 Golden Globes ceremony, but were asked about the Duchess of Sussex on the red carpet.

SUITS REUNION

One reporter spoke to Gina Torres, who played Jessica Pearson on the show, and said: "Suits reunion!

“Everywhere I look, there’s a star from Suits! Did you plan this? Are you all texting each other?"

Gina answered: "Yeah, our text thread is insane right now!"

The interviewer asked why royal mum-of-two Meghan was absent and if they had “texted” her to join them.

Gina replied: "We don’t have her number.

“We just don’t, so… She’ll see, she’ll watch. She’ll be happy that we’re here."

Universal International Studios boss Beatrice Springborn publicly confirmed Suits: Los Angeles is being made.

“We are working on it right now,” she revealed late last year.

“It is amazing looking people in great clothes but at the core of it, you can’t have a show that’s successful with just that.

"It has to have great storytelling and great character work," the boss added.

It comes as Harry and Meghan are set to embark on a three-day Canada trip this week.

Last week, Prince Harry jetted 5,000 miles from LA to London to be by his father’s side following his shock cancer diagnosis.

Harry departed the UK just 26 hours after arriving - and later shocked fans as he took to the stage during the 2024 NFL Honors in Las Vegas.

There he made a joke-heavy speech as he handed out a "Man of the Year" award - without mentioning his father.

Meghan remained in California during Harry’s UK trip, but the pair are expected to spend February 14-16 at the One Year to Go festivities, ahead of the 2025’s Invictus Games.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s trip will start on Wednesday, according to People, and will kickstart the one-year countdown to the next sporting event.
