"I thought we'd start with a bit of fun this morning."
Explosion flattens 4 houses with victims rushed to hospital after 'gas leak'The BBC star then started explaining the forecast in Lover, Red Roses, Lusty Beg and Isle of Ewe.
She shared that, while it was meant to be 8C in Scotland's Isle of Ewe, temperatures are set to reach a "hot and steamy" 13C in Lover, which is located south of the country.
The weather woman then cheekily teased: "If you're living there, bear that in mind..."
Later in her segment, Carol revealed that temperatures will get hotter as the week progresses, with some parts of the county experiencing well-above-average temperatures.
Addressing her co-hosts, Ben and Sally, who were sitting on the famous red sofa, the newlywed said: "And Sal and Ben, it's worth noting that tomorrow somewhere in the South East or East Anglia could reach 16C or 17C.
"That's way above average for that time of year..."
Ben teased: "You're absolutely right about it getting hot and steamy, Carol, thank you."
The trio burst into laughter as Ben ended the show with: "We'll see you later, thank you."
After the show aired, fans took to social media and commented on the weather forecast shared by fan-favourite Carol, who penned her very own Valentine's Day poem on X(formerly Twitter).
The weather reporter tweeted: "Roses are red, violets are blue. I've got the weather. And I'm bringing it to you."
Edinburgh Hogmanay revellers stuck in queues for TWO HOURS in torrential rainReplying to the post, one fan said: "Good morning Carol, Happy Valentine’s Day."
Another added: "Violets are blue, roses are red. I'm going to watch it from the comfort of bed."
A third shared: "Happy first married Valentine's Day Carol... Hope you spoil each other rotten."
Last week, during a BBC Breakfast episode, Carol disappeared from screens after an embarrassing admission on BBC Breakfast this morning.
At the time, the Scottish weatherwoman had just finished giving an update on the day's forecast when she made the blunder.
Co-host Naga Munchetty joked about Carol's excitement for the upcoming segment on a man who spent eight years building a sculpture of the Eiffel Tower out of matchsticks.
She asked her fellow BBC Breakfast presenter: "The real information you wanted was about matchsticks, the number of matchsticks in boxes? Didn't you?"
Carol responded with the inappropriate quip: "I'm constipated with anticipation."
Charlie Stayt chimed in from the red sofa, adding: "I wasn't expecting that!"
After the awkward exchange, Carol was seen sneaking off-screen as the cameras panned back to her.
BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
