THOUSANDS of Plusnet customers were left struggling to get online after the provider suffered a major outage.
Downdetector, which measures outages, said there were almost 9,000 reported issues as of 4.26pm on January 15.

Complaints started just after 4pm on January 15 and by 4.26pm 8,849 Plusnet customers were reporting broadband issues.
Some 74% of the complaints related to landline internet connections.
