APPLE has partnered with Disney+ to bring customers 3D movies that they don't even need to leave the house for.

Last year, the tech giant unveiled its sci-fi virtual reality (VR) goggles - the Apple Vision Pro - which the company call it's first "spatial computer".

Now, thanks to a new partnership between Apple and Disney+, the pair are bringing 3D movies to the Apple Vision Pro from February 2.

It's understood that Disney+ subscribers will not have to pay extra to stream in 3D.

In a statement, Disney CEO Bog Iger said: "At Disney, we’re constantly searching for new ways to entertain, inform, and inspire by combining exceptional creativity with groundbreaking technology to create truly remarkable experiences.

"Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary platform that will bring our fans closer to the characters and stories they love while immersing them more deeply in all that Disney has to offer.

"We’re proud to once again be partnering with Apple to bring extraordinary new Disney experiences to people around the world."

It's unclear just how many movies Disney+ subscribers will be able to watch in 3D.

But the company has promised "dozens".

What we do know is that some of the more popular Disney movies that have already graced cinema screens in 3D will be among the first few.

This includes: Avatar: The Way of Water, Avengers: Endgame, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Pixar's Elemental and Encanto

It's important to note that to receive both these bonuses - you will need to have both an Apple Vision Pro headset as well as a Disney+ subscription.

The Vision Pro goggles are available to pre-order from 19 January, priced at $3,499 (£2,736).
