GOGGLEBOX'S Kate Bottley has announced the death of her mother in a heartbreaking social media post.
The reverend made the announcement just hours after confirming mum Margaret had been taken to hospital.

Sharing the news on Twitter, Kate posted photos of her mum beaming alongside her and wrote: "She really was a smasher.
"May the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace and rise in glory."
She later added: "And we’ll take all the prayers, mass intentions and general positive thoughts we can get, thanks.

"(Also FYI Dry January is cancelled, she bloody loved a Bacardi and Coke)."
Kate's mum has been in hospital for a number of weeks after some "scary health news" earlier this month.
The star revealed that Margaret was being looked after by NHS staff for "three weeks" in another tweet.
Posting last week, Kate penned: "She’s due home tomorrow. It’s been tricky emotionally as well as physically.
“She has been cared for by some of the best humans, huge thanks to all the staff at Sheffield Hospital."
Kate shot to fame when she was on Gogglebox from 2014 until 2016.
She was approached to appear on the show after a YouTube video of a wedding she was officiating went viral and gained over seven million views thanks to a flashmob dance routine.
Speaking of her decision to go on Gogglebox, Kate told The Sun: "We wanted to show people that just because we have a faith and are Christians, it doesn't mean we are four-headed.
Kate met her husband Graham at school when both were aged 13 years old but didn't begin dating until they were 18.
Since her rise to fame she has put her culinary skills under the microscope on Celebrity MasterChef.

She has also presented the BBC's Songs of Praise.
