Meanwhile, Georgina’s man has claimed that awards are “losing credibility” after being snubbed by the Ballon d'Or and Fifa's The Best.
Edinburgh Hogmanay revellers stuck in queues for TWO HOURS in torrential rainThe 38-year-old former Manchester United star left top level football to join Al-Nassr 12 months ago.
He has scored 54 goals since then but he was still not named on the 30-man shortlist for the Ballon d'Or, which was won for an eighth time by rival Lionel Messi.
Ronaldo also failed to make The Best awards' men's player of the year shortlist but he did collect two other prizes at the Globe Soccer Awards as he added Best Middle East Player and Best Goal Scorer gongs to the fan one.
But he took aim at his Ballon d'Or and Best Awards snubs by saying: “I think that, in a way, these awards are losing credibility. We have to analyse the entire season.
“It's not to say that Messi didn't deserve it, or Haaland or even Mbappe. I simply no longer believe in these awards.
“And it's not because I won at Globe Soccer. But there are facts, there are numbers. And the numbers don't deceive.
“They can't take this trophy away from me because it's a reality. So it makes me even happier, because the numbers are facts.”
