How has Modern Warfare 3 been impacted?
The most common error is that people are seeing that their characters have been dropped back to Level 1.
Most players have also reported being unable to enter a match, and being unable to access the battle pass.
There are other issues like being unable to log into a game, and having their characters reset to the default.
Can users access Modern Warfare 3?
Users can still access Modern Warfare 3, but load times appear to be significantly longer, and it can take a long time to get in.
Many are finding that even if they end up in a match with other players that their character is only Level 1.
What is causing the Call of Duty outage?
Call of Duty has released a statement regarding the outages.
It reads: "We're working on a fix for a known issue that appeared overnight that is preventing progress from being tracked in various areas of the game including but not limited to events, challenges, Battle Pass, and SR.
"Players may also notice unusual behavior related to account level and loadouts."
While the errors are being worked on, it may be several hours before the maintenance is complete.
