The NHS rehabilitation assistant practitioner stunned the studio with her infectious personality on The Wheel.

When asked what she would do with the money, she admitted that she wanted to own her own home, support her ill brother and give money to Cancer Research.

But despite her noble goals, she left BBC fans furious towards the end of the programme

The contestant answered two questions wrong about the naming of champagne bubbles and the terminology of the US dollar currency.

As she descended below the wheel spun again as a new contestant would presumably rise one last time to compete for the jackpot.

To both the horror of Michael and the viewers at home, Karen ascended to the wheel for a third time in an attempt to claim the cash prize.

Michael himself couldn't believe what he was seeing as he thought this was an unprecedented situation.

"I can't believe this! Karen, it's never, never, never on the show happened before that somebody's come up and in the last chance can win the most amount of money."

He added: "It feels like destiny! We so hope it is, it would be the most astonishing end."

Viewers immediately took to X - formerly known as Twitter - in their droves as they claimed the gameshow was 'rigged' as they labelled it a 'farce'.

One viewer fumed: "No bloody way, normally like the wheel but this is rigged surely #thewheel"

"Not her again. What a farce.#thewheel," raged a second.

Whilst a third angrily stated: "Ridiculous … totally unfair on the other contestants. #thewheel"

"What an absolute fix !! #thewheel," exclaimed a fourth.

And a fifth viewer added: #thewheel is a #fix how come Karen keeps coming back @BBCOne."

In the end she and 'Celebrities expert' GK Barry got the final question right and won a whopping £90,000.

After she answered a third question relating to King Charles III, he declared: "I've never known an ending like this, I've never known a person like you.

"You've been amazing, you've been lovely, you have an incredible spirit.

"You've had three chances to win this, you're so fortunate to come back here."

Karen instantly burst into tears of joy as the host gave her a huge hug as he exclaimed: "What an extraordinary ending."
