A WIFE’S dream move to a bungalow has come unstuck — as her husband is refusing to let go of his huge Lego landscape in their loft.

Hayley White wants to downsize from their three-bed semi but Marc’s 50,000-brick build is proving a stumbling block.

“But it’s just the thought of moving all that Lego that stops us from moving house.”

Marc, 56, started with a train set two years ago to keep grandson Sebastian, then six, entertained at their home in Neath, South Wales.

Since then, he has laid floors and put in tables, electrics and lighting and spent around £7,000 online adding pieces of Lego to the city.

Marc and Sebastian, now eight, spend hours in the loft.

He said: “It takes me back to my childhood.

“My wife says she loves it really, she’s always surprised when she comes up seeing what I’ve built.

“To be honest, it’s got out of hand.

“But there’s no way we are moving.”

Hayley added: “I never envisioned it would become this size when Marc started — to think one train set for our grandson began it all.”
