A mum who fled the US after she was accused of murdering her two children following a bitter custody battle has appeared at an extradition hearing in London.
Kimberlee Singler, 35, and her nine-year-old daughter and seven-year-old son were found dead at a property in Colorado Springs on December 19. Her 11-year-old daughter was also discovered at the residential home injured but alive, according to police.
A judge had ordered the three children to spend Christmas with their dad before his ex-wife allegedly killed the two children, court documents said. Singler and her ex-husband, 38-year-old Kevin John Wentz, had been locked in a yearslong court battle over custodial issues.
Cops responded to a 911 call amid reports of a burglary at their home, which later turned out to be unfounded. The mum and her daughter were treated at the scene for injuries before being taken to hospital.
