MICHELLE Heaton has hit back at body-shaming trolls, telling them there is nothing wrong with her weight.

The former Liberty X star, 44, shared that she gets a lot of insults about being too thin.

Michelle went on to open up about her fluctuating weight.

She shared that back when she was a pop singer she was accused of the opposite and told to lose weight, which had a lifelong effect on her.

Michelle added that when people make fun of her for being too skinny, she feels the same way she did when comments were made about her being 'fat'.

The singer wrote: "I get an awful lot of people commenting on my posts, endless insults and skinny shaming me.

"'Eat more'
'Too skinny'
'U look awful'
'What’s wrong with you….?'

"Well, there’s nothing WRONG with me! You know, 22 years ago I had the opposite..

"'The fat one in Liberty X'
'Who ate all the pies'

"I once got told to loose weight as I was no longer looking like a Popstar by a member of our management team - no longer there thank god!"

She went on to open up about the eating disorder she got as a result, saying: "I was so ashamed I took diet pills, I binged and made myself sick. As a direct result I live with a heart problem and it will never get better.

"That same feeling can come back to me when I hear negative remarks about my current physical appearance.

"Which, in my opinion, is happy, strong, focused.

"Yes, I train hard, I absolutely love it! It’s part of who I am now… and yes, I eat.. allot of great food and have a balanced diet!

"When I got sober almost 3 years ago I lost the bloat alcohol gave me.

"The point is, whilst I don’t reply to these people, these words can hurt just as much as being called fat.

"This may not be YOUR ideal of what Being healthy looks like…. But it’s MINE."

People responded to her powerful words, saying: "You are lean AND strong! You look awesome and I enjoy seeing your training content with your husband (and Bella)."

Scottish presenter Lorraine Kelly gushed: "You are gorgeous."

Another person added: "Always haters out there who just can’t love themselves! Healthy is healthy however that looks…and it looks fabulous on you!"
