Andrew and Tasha have gone from strength to strength since meeting in the villa in 2022. The couple didn't have an easy ride on the ITV show, but finished together in fourth place.
Tasha recently revealed that it felt like the right time to embrace her "deaf accent". The 25-year-old was the ITV show's first deaf contestant and spoke openly about using a cochlear implant – a small electronic device that helps her to hear – during her time in the villa.
In a recent clip uploaded to TikTok, Tasha posted her full video without her implant, speaking to followers in her "deaf accent" while filming a Get Ready With Me clip of her morning routine. In the video, Tasha told fans: "I don't know how loud I'm speaking, or how clear I'm speaking."
A "deaf accent" refers to the way those who are deaf or who have hearing loss sound when they speak. Tasha's video has been praised by the Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID) – a charity that works to raise awareness of the challenges and stigma deaf people can face and to highlight effective communication techniques.
