From the driver's seat, he tells his viewers that the car is running, though the menus can be accessed while the car is in auxiliary mode, too.
Before accessing the menu, he issues a word of warning.

Then he pressed the dark/light mode setting, which is represented by a sun and a crescent moon icon, the phone button, and the volume knob.
After holding the three buttons down for about three seconds, two options crop up: Self Diagnostics Mode, and Detail Information & Settings.
The first diagnostics menu instructs people to access the settings while the vehicle is stopped with the engine running so the sensors can properly diagnose certain features.
The second menu is to confirm specific diagnostic screens.
Both menus are designed for Honda or Acura technicians to help diagnose customer problems with various sensor data, or to test the speakers.
Another menu is hidden within the second menu, however.
After selecting the second menu, Chris holds down the phone and display button for two seconds and reveals another vehicle setting menu.
From there, drivers can alter fan settings, volume settings, vehicle model information, version detail information, output logs, bitmap displays, and adjust the display.
"And there's your other menu right there," he said.
