There are now just three days of the January transfer window remaining with Arsenal keen to add further new faces to their squad.

The Gunners have already completed the signing of Jakub Kiwior and Leandro Trossard for a combined fee of £48m. One of the Belgian’s former teammates could be set to follow him to the Emirates Stadium.

Moises Caicedo is of interest to the Gunners having already had a bid rejected for his services in an effort to beat off the competition of Chelsea. The midfielder has now expressed his desire to leave Brighton so the Gunners could well be in with a chance of securing a deal.

With all of that being said, take a look at the latest transfer news and rumours coming out of the Emirates Stadium.

Gunners table second Caicedo bid

After seeing an initial £60m offer for Caicedo knocked back, it appears that the Gunners have not been deterred in the race for his services. According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal have lodged a second bid.

It is suggested that their latest offer sits at £60m, with a further £10m in add-ons. Their second bid is unlikely to be successful either.

Brighton are reportedly holding out for £80m for the Ecuadorian midfielder and are desperate to hold him until the summer. For the time being, he has been told to stay away from the club’s training ground until after the January transfer window closes.

Juventus monitor Tierney situation

Italian giants Juventus are reportedly keeping a close eye on Kieran Tierney's situation with Arsenal, with the Gunners apparently set to make a decision over his future. The North London side are currently chasing the services of Spanish defender Ivan Fresneda.

If they complete a deal for him, it is suggested that Tierney could be on his way out. As per TuttoMercatoWeb, the Gunners will reportedly make the former Celtic star available for transfer should Fresneda be signed.

Juventus would be interested in a move as they attempt to find a long-term successor for veteran left-back Alex Sandro. The 25-year-old has three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract at the Emirates Stadium.

Gunners compete with Spurs for French wonderkid

North London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal are reportedly facing off for the signing of Elye Wahi. According to Foot Mercato, the pair are among a clutch of clubs interested in the Montpellier starlet.

The Gunners have put the most effort into signing him, having reportedly been scouting him for several months. Juventus, Manchester United and Manchester City are also all reportedly interested.

He has already scored seven goals so far this season and is valued at €30m (£26.3m).
