"The bar brings together a smooth milk chocolate shell with a melt-in-the-mouth bubbly strawberry flavour centre and will be available from Spar in mid-May.
"It will then be rolled out to wholesale and convenience stores nationwide later in June.”
Brits unaware of the release were quickly reminded on Facebook, as it was posted on a group called Latest Deals - where keen shoppers post soon-to-be released items, sales on wanted products and bargains found in all sorts of shops.
It read: "The Strawberry Aero is hitting shops soon."
Future punters quickly commented on the post, eagerly confirming their delight at the news.
One user said: "Oh my god, I will need this in my life."

And a third punter - who had seemingly been waiting for the bar to be confirmed - said: "At last."
The treat is said to mirror the flavour of a strawberry milkshake, but those who buy and try it can make their own assessment of the different notes that hit their taste buds.
