Unable to scrub off the sleaze, we know how Rishi Sunak’s dirty Tory UK Government will end.

The squalid honeypot scandal following drunken groping, sexual assault, backhanders, bullying, tractor porn, cocaine, dodgy honours, dubious tax affairs, secret lobbying and Partygate is mis-rule by louts.

Conservatives have been there, done that, got the T-shirt. In 1997 when John “Back to Basics” Major was Prime Minister. The result was electoral annihilation, a Labour landslide. Polls suggest we’re heading back to the future.

Puny Sunak’s impotence and cowardice are a green light to unruly hooligans, nobody respecting a weakling without authority.

Bottling the suspension of dishonourable William Wragg, the sext trap MP who, to save his own skin, slyly slipped a blackmailer telephone numbers of colleagues who were subsequently targeted, is a leader in office but not in power.

Brextremist Right-winger Wragg’s offence is too grievous to remain merely a Conservative internal issue and Sunak may fear a House of Commons probe recommending a 30-day suspension sparking another by-election and loss of the Hazel Grove seat in Greater Manchester.

The frightening moral collapse of the Tories is cementing the near inevitable defeat of a party that goes into the next election with most people worse off than at the last and public services crumbling.

Strapping a few demonised refugees and migrants on one-way flights to Rwanda at nudging £2-million per head won’t save Sunak. Voters have wised up, they see it’s a useless expensive gimmick.

Nor will vile culture wars and nasty anti-woke diatribes against invented demons and people who deserve compassion and understanding instead of the bile and bigotry of the worst Conservatives.

It’s telling that more than 60 Tory MPs are quitting including enough senior Conservatives to fill a Cabinet including a PM (May), Chancellor (Kwarteng), Foreign Secretary (Raab), Home (Javid), Health (Hancock), Defence (Wallace), Transport (Grayling), Environment (Eustice) and Northern Ireland (Lewis).

Why hang around to be kicked out by voters or, worse, survive and sit on the opposition benches.

Major’s sleazy bunch were out for 13 Labour years. Sunak’s sleazier mob are looking at a similar stretch, particularly if the defeated party lurches to the Right.
