Another secret that Amol discovered after joining the show is that the iconic voice of the buzzer is a real person. Roger Tilling works in the studio and is present during the live shows.
Amol jokingly mentioned the third thing he learned, saying he figured out how to pronounce the letter 'H', previously saying 'Haitch' but now affirms that it is indeed 'Aitch'.
The host went on to explain the fourth secret he learnt and that was that virality was always possible - even in the most unexpected moments.
Speaking about the first time he saw this, he said: "It was only when my answer about the distinction between drum'n'bass and jungle went viral that I realised that each question is a little narrative arc.
"'It goes: Question, change of shot, teams ponder, answer given... pay-off with laughter.'
"Each question is a little story, or joke, that could meet social media infamy."
Amold's fifth secret was that quizzes make great TV.
He said it brings out the characters on the show. It shows viewers a different side to them and takes them on a journey.
For his sixth secret, Amol said that he constantly has the director and the producers in his ear guiding him and making quick decisions.
His Dark Materials fans left open-mouthed after character’s shocking betrayalHe said: "Series producer Clare Parody frequently has to make instinctive adjudications when, as is often the case, a contestant gives an answer that seems a marginal call, but isn't."
The final secret that Amol exposed was that the students "don't sit on top of each other".
From the way the show is filmed, it sometimes looks that way but Amol jokingly confirmed that that was not the case.
