Love Island star Molly Smith was rushed to hospital with a mystery illness just days before her luxury holiday.
The 29-year-old sparked concern as she was absent from social media for almost five days. She was taken to hospital in the early hours of Tuesday morning following a health concern. Molly has been taking some time to recover and has been supported by boyfriend Tom Clare.
They have been going from strength to strength since appearing on the All Stars version of the hit reality dating show earlier this year. Molly had been dating Callum Jones after they met on their series of Love Island. However after three and a half years together, they split last September.
Molly suffered her health scare just days before she jetted off to Dubai with Tom. A source told The Sun: "It was a worrying night for Molly. She was taken into hospital in the middle of the night, but thankfully it was just a scare. She's now doing much better. Her trip with Tom couldn't have come at a better time."
The TV star also gave an update to her fans, as she said: "Sorry for being MIA. I ended up in hospital in the early hours of Tuesday morning so I've been a bit of a write off. Finally had a little TLC and got my hair done so starting to feel a little more like me again. I will catch up with properly with you all soon."
Gemma Owen's mum makes cryptic 'fakery' dig after Love Island star's Luca splitShe appeared in high spirts on Sunday as she flew to Dubai with Tim for their first holiday together after the show. They splashed out on the £15k flights and passed their time by taking part in a Q&A session with fans. One asked Molly if she was now feeling better. In response, she said: "I'm getting there... slowly thank you for asking! This holiday couldn't have come at a better time, relaxation and some sun is very needed."
The loved-up couple also revealed they are boyfriend and girlfriend after Tom made it official on March 1. He joked: "She is wifed off." They were asked if they are planning to move in with each other as Tom gave a sheepish look to the camera. Molly quipped: "He already has."
Molly recently said they are both on "cloud nine" and said that Tom is the more mature than her exes. Speaking to the Mail, she said: "I don't like jinxing things but right now I can't fault our relationship. Moving in together is the next step, we are practically living together as is... we just haven't made it official yet."
She added: "Our age difference used to bother me, but I have been with people in the past who have been older and shown less maturity than Tom does... Tom for his age, shows so much maturity and he's actually treated me better than anyone I've been with..." It comes after fans hoped Molly and ex Callum would reconcile their differences and get back together while both on the All Stars show. However, it soon became clear that it wasn't to be and they would simply remain friends. Callum ended up with Jess Gale and they finished second place.
