After tying the knot with Toby-Alexander Smith last year, Amy Walsh has allegedly struggled to find time for her husband amid her busy work schedule.
While her character Tracy Robinson continues to face drama in the Yorkshire Dales, the Emmerdale actress is set to star in the new ITVBe reality series Drama Queens, set to air on April 10, 2024, alongside some of her soap co-stars in the likes of Laura Norton and Roxy Shahidi and leading ladies from rival shows Hollyoaks and Coronation Street.
During a chat with Christine Lampard on the set of Lorraine this Tuesday (April 9, 2024), Amy revealed that this left her with little opportunity to see her husband, former EastEnders actor and villain Toby-Alexander Smith.

"It's just a juggle, a struggle sometimes", Amy first said, referring to the fact that she, along with co-stars Laura and Roxy, are all sharing the lives of overbooked actors.

When questioned about her family life with Toby-Alexander and daughter Bonnie-Mae, she quipped: "I've barely seen him since we got married", before adding: "we do feel like newlyweds, we haven't been together that long in the grand scheme of things so our relationship is still quite new and fresh but then you throw a toddler in the mix and work commitments and it's crazy."
Amy and Toby embarked on a romantic relationship in 2020 after reportedly meeting while in the audience of a Strictly Come Dancing episode a year prior. At the time, both actors were sat in the front row, with the former supporting castmate Kelvin Fletcher while her beau was cheering for Honey Mitchell star Emma Barton.
A few months later, the world went into lockdown, forcing them to start a long-distance relationship. However, due to their strong connection, Toby-Alexander decided to move in with Amy and the rest was history.
While they have since kept their relationship shrouded in secrecy, they welcomed a daughter, Bonnie, in December the following year. A handful of months later, the loved-up pair announced their engagement and, as mentioned, secretly walked down the aisle in late August last year.

The former had even shared unseen snaps of the couple's big day on social media.
During a chat with OK! Magazine weeks after her nuptials, Amy Walsh made it clear she was "in pure bliss" as she claimed her wedding had "surpassed all (her) expectations."
"It was honestly the most perfect day. It surpassed all my expectations and more. I felt so surprisingly present on the day and loved every second. Now I’m just in pure bliss."
