Rav wrote a message to his followers that said: "For those asking questions myself and Jill amicably separated last year.

"Our focus is co-parenting our hugely loved and beautiful daughter."

Jill, who worked as a producer on Top Gear and Children In Need, gave birth to their daughter in 2020.

Rav famously dated Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton in 2010, but they split in 2011 following a public row.

He got engaged to Jill after seven months of dating back in 2012 and they tied the knot in May 2017 in Barbados.

Rav recently launched the new Crimewatch Live that aired in the mornings on BBC One with presenter Michelle Ackerley.

His most recent posts on Instagram show his fitness transformation.

The TV star, who was born in Canterbury, Kent, has had numerous professions over the years, including being a soldier and a police officer.

But his rise to fame began in 2004 when he became the presenter of BBC Crimewatch, resigning from his position as a policeman.

He later appeared in various shows including The One Show, Missing Live, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Helicopter Heroes, and Crimewatch Roadshow.

In 2008, he won celebrity editions of The Weakest Link and Ready Steady Cook, and also appeared on Celebrity Mastermind.

Rav showcased his moves on Strictly Come Dancing in 2009 with partner Aliona Vilani.

In 2011, he co-presented the remake of Get Your Own Back with Dave Benson Phillips.

The star suffered life changing injuries when he took part in ITV’s now-defunct diving show Splash! in 2013.

He sued the channel following a horror accident which saw him snap hamstring tendons during a somersault dive in training and left him with one leg shorter than the other.

That year, he also suffered a pulmonary embolism (blood clot) on his lung that had a one in three chance of killing him.

Since then, he's been seen in Big Brother's Little Brother, Remembrance Week, Hero Squad, 71 Degrees North, and Frontline Police.

Rav served as the presenter of Crimewatch from June 2004 to December 2011 and has been hosting Crimewatch Roadshow since 2009.

He won the role of Crimewatch presenter after initially auditioning for Blue Peter.

In 2017, The Sun revealed that he was training to become an osteopath.
