JON Kay left his co-star Sally Nugent squirming this morning as he bragged he had 'unlimited access' to her life while showing throwback snaps.

The BBC Breakfast hosts were reminiscing about their past trips after speaking to the stars of the new series of Race Across The World.

During the show, Jon, 54, shared a throwback snap of him biking through China.

As the picture appeared on screen, he told Sally: "This is me backpacking around 25 years ago or something in China. The backpack's not quite big enough though!"

Just as Sally confirmed she had no pictures to share with viewers, a photo flashed up showing her clinging to a tree during a camping trip in north Wales.

Jon confessed he had sourced the old picture through a WhatsApp group of Sally's.

He said: "You know when you added me to that group of your friends on WhatsApp? I've now got unlimited access to your whole life, Sally!"

The pair were hosting today's programme alongside Nina Warhurst, who fronted the business bulletin, and weather presenter Carol Kirkwood.

Carol stunned with a bright blue blouse as she brought viewers the latest forecast but fans were left concerned for her and Jon's health.

Both presenters had croaky voices and appeared to struggle to speak at times.

Carol, 61, joked about her voice being 'ropey' during a live exchange with Jon yesterday.

As her bulletin came to an end, he remarked: "Carol, I know you'll be keeping an eye on that [Storm Kathleen], and well done - we've got to the end of Breakfast and your voice has survived. It's an achievement - go and rest."

BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One and iPlayer.
