Over the weekend, BBC Bargain Hunt presenter Christina Trevanion shared an adorable Instagram video demonstrating her efforts at horse riding.
The clip depicted Christina leisurely riding a black and white horse, while her companions rode on ahead at a much brisker pace, prompting the TV star to say she was "giving up". Taking to social media to share a photo of her fun day out, Christina quipped: "I've given up trying to keep up..."
Fans were delighted that Christina documented her escape to the countryside, with one of her followers joking: "It looks like your horse is quite happy not to keep up too." Someone else added: "Gorgeous countryside Christina. I've been hoping for a glimpse of you riding Evie and here she is! A joy of spring. Lovely to know you're out and about doing one of the things you clearly and absolutely love," the Express reports.
Other comments included: "Always my problem - lack of horsepower" and, "You need a riding crop." Christina first introduced her horse, Evie, to her social media followers last year, expressing her fondness for equestrian activities.
The Bargain Hunter presenter revealed she hadn't intended to get another horse after the loss of her cherished Barney, whom she mourned as a "once in a lifetime" love. She shared the sad news of her horse's passing in 2022 with a heartfelt tribute on social media.

She captioned the photo: "I have missed riding very much. By happy chance, this little lady has come into our lives. I'm a firm believer that animals chose you, and I feel very honoured to have been selected by her!"
Her passion for horses seems to be a family trait, as her daughter has also taking up the reins. Two years prior, the BBC presenter posted about her child's showjumping achievements, proudly declaring herself a "super proud mumma".
